About Dan Pearson
Sports Anchor/Reporter Dan Pearson joined KWQC-TV6 in July 1987. Dan is a native of Geneseo, Illinois and previously was a sportscaster in Springfield and Peoria. Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois.

Dan hosts and produces the Emmy winning Friday night "Highlight Zone". The "Zone" is a fast-paced look at high school sports featuring highlights, fans and the KWQC-TV6 10PM Anchor Team.

Dan is a family man residing in Geneseo, Illinois with his wife Gina and their daughters Amanda and Katie. Amanda is a college student at Bradley. Katie is a student at Geneseo High school.

The Pearsons are involved in many church, community and school activities. When Dan is not reporting sports, he is busy teaching Sunday school. Dan also maintains a heavy speaking schedule for area school and church groups.

This year's "Fall Festival of Hope" was very exciting. We all had a lot of fun with the auction and the deserts were excellent.

Our featured guest speaker Dan Pearson, sports personality of KWQC TV's "Highlight Zone" was very moving with his passionate presentation as he shared "Life in the Eyes of a Sportscaster".

Dan shared his burden of reaching out to our youth and helping them anyway he can with their struggles through a very creative and effective venue of sportscasting. He certainly knows how to get our youth involved and communicates to them that they can make a difference in this world.

We would like to thank all of those who gave of their talents, financial contributions, time and prayers. We thank all of you who have given or give on a regular basis. The ministry thrives on your monthly contributions.

Even though the Fall Festival of Hope banquet is over, we would still encourage you to pray for us to make godly decisions regarding this ministry. The sanctity of life is top priority here at Hope Life Center and we welcome any help and financial donations you feel led to give.

We are in the early stages of planning for a full "Medical" equipped center which would include the operations and administration of an "Utra Sound" machine. Cost for this kind of equipment and training is very high, but certainly worth the expense because it will demonstrate to a pregnant woman the reality of a human life in her, that could ultimately encourage a decision that could save her baby's life!

Please pray for this ministry and all who participate... May life take priority over convenience.
